CEO of Tesla Inc Elon Musk has regained the title of world’s richest person with a net worth of $199.9 billion after SpaceX completed another funding round. According to reports SpaceX raised another $850 million this month from a group of investors led by Sequoia Capital.
Elon Musk has now surpassed Jeff Bezos, who briefly reclaimed the title this week after Tesla shares fell. The values the company at $74 billion, a 60% jump from August, and helped boost Musk’s net worth by about $11 billion.
