Guwahati: Five people were reportedly killed in a road accident in Assam’s Kamrup district on Friday.
According to reports, five people were killed in a head-on collision between an ambulance and a passenger tempo on Friday night and the incident took place at Baihata area of Kamrup district.
In the incident, two persons died on the spot while the three others were severely injured. They were rushed to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital but later they were declared dead at the hospital.
The deceased persons were identified as Bimala Bodo, Bileswari Brahma, Toofan Bodo, Bogita Bodo, and Uttam Ranjbongshi.
