Former Assam DGP SV Subramanian is no more. Assam Police posted on its official social media handle, “We are saddened by the passing away of our former DGP, Shri S.V. Subramanian, IPS. Shri Subramanian leaves a legacy of selfless service to the people of Assam. His contributions will always be remembered.”
SV Subramanian served as the DGP of Assam from July 1991 to April 1994.
