Four Buffaloes died due to thunderstroke in Assam’s Sivsagar

Guwahati: In a disaster calamity, four buffaloes died from heavy thunderstorm of Sivsagar district of Assam on Wednesday night.

The incident took place in the Jerenga Pathar area of the district.

According to reports, the four bulls belonged to a farmer.

The farmer has been identified as Budheshwar Bora.

While adressing to media, Bora conveyed his displeasure with the incident.

“Now that this incidence has forced me to become a financial victim, how will I be able to continue farming!” “I’m powerless,” the farmer said.

Reports further claimed that Bora used to earn his day-to-day livelihood from the buffaloes.

Particularly, Assam has been observed for massive rainfall since few days.

It also needs to be mentioned that the India Meteorological Department (IMD) have predicted massive rainfall in several districts of Assam on Thursday.
