Four Died After Consuming Mushrooms in Assam’s Dibrugarh

Guwahati: At least four people have died due to suspected food poisoning in Assam’s Dibrugarh district on Monday.

According to reports, the four deceased had fallen sick after they consumed the mushroom on Thursday. Later they were admitted to Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) in Dibrugarh.

The deceased have been identified as Junali Praja, Rima Karmakar, Chayanika Karmakar and Ajoy Karmakar. All of them were residents of Sonari’s Lalipathargaon.

It needs to be noted that all the four deceased were members of one family.
