Guwahati: Fuel prices in Assam have reached an all-time high after the prices of fuel have been increased for the 4rth time in a row across the country on Saturday.
With the hike of Rs 0.23, petrol will now cost Rs 103.23 per litre in Guwahati.
Similarly, in the national capital, the petrol prices increased to Rs.107.24 and also the diesel prices reached Rs.95.97 with the same amount of hike.
It may be mentioned that in Mumbai, petrol and diesel cost Rs 113.12 and Rs 104.00 a litre, respectively, compared to Rs 107.78 and Rs 99.08 in Kolkata and Rs 104.22 and Rs 100.25 in Chennai.
Earlier taking the Twitter Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also criticized the government for the continuous price hike of fuel in the country.
