Guwahati: At a time when the BJP has destroyed the whole opposition, particularly the Congress, the Aam Aadmi Party opened an account in the Guwahati Municipal Corporation.
Masuma Begum of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won Ward 42, which includes sections of Barsajai, Hatigaon, Notboma, and Embankment Road.
The BJP-AGP combination has won 40 wards and appears to be on track to win 55 of the 60 seats.
It mayc bementioned that the Congress party has yet to open a account.
