Guwahati, 3rd July: A horrifying incident unfolded in Phillobari village, Margherita subdivision, Tinsukia district, where a seven-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed to death by his maternal uncle on Thursday.
According to sources, the minor boy suffered multiple stab wounds with a trident (Trishul) wielded by his maternal uncle. Tragically, the young victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The motive behind this macabre act remains unclear and is currently under investigation.
The accused uncle, identified as Krishna Boraik, has gone into hiding following the incident and is currently untraceable.
Upon receiving the information, Tinsukia police swiftly arrived at the location to initiate the investigation.
The community is left in shock and mourning over this heinous act as authorities work diligently to apprehend the accused and bring justice to the young victim.
