Guwahati: A massive fire broke out in Guwahati’s Fancy Bazaar on Sunday.
The incident took place at the Chamber Road in the city.
According to reports, the fire is suspected to have broken out from the Maharaja Hotel.
However, the reason behind the fire is believed to be an electrical short circuit.
Meanwhile, fire tenders rushed to the affected place and doused the fire.
It may be mentioned that several business establishments were reportedly engulfed in the fire.
