Guwahati: Fuel prices increases for 11th time
Guwahati: Guwahati reported 11th hike for the fuel prices in the last 13 days .
The price of petrol has recorded at Rs 103.44 a litre on Sunday, with a maximum increase of 89 paise.
Diesel rates in Guwahati, on the other hand, recorded at Rs 89.29.
While petrol prices in Tinsukia and Chirang were estimated to be Rs 103.39, Majuli had the highest price, with a litre costing Rs 105.95.
It may be mentioned that fuel prices have continued to rise since the end of the assembly elections in five states.
It needs to be noted that in Chennai petrol costs Rs 108.21 per litre while in Mumbai it has been increased to Rs 117.57 per litre.
