Guwahati: In the ongoing war against drugs Assam Police seized a huge number of contraband tablets and arrested one person in the connection.
The arrestee was identified as Pratap Sonowal.
During a search operation initiated by the Jorhat Police, the officials recovered 1100 numbers of Sampex Plus capsule and 500 Nitrazepam 10 Tablets from his possession.
Legal action has been initiated into the matter and further investigation is underway.
