Guwahati: A man masquerading as a baba was arrested from the Jalukbari area of Guwahati on Thursday.
The accused identified as Zamir Hussain.
According to reports, Hussain allegedly sought to defraud the complainant of Rs 2 lakh by offering false treatment.
Hussain was arrested based on a complaint which was lodged by Bipul Kalita.
According to the complaint, Hussain was apprehended near the Bhupen Hazarika Samadhi Khetra Memorial in the area.
Meanwhile, further investigation on the matter is underway.
