Guwahati: A fake currency printing racket has been busted by Guwahati city police on Thursday evening.
Based on specific information, sleuths of Geetanagar police raided a house in Nabin Nagar area.
During the raid, officials seized fake currency printing machine along with a large amount of fake notes.
Moreover, two persons were arrested in connection to it.
The arrestees identified as Saeed Murab and Mafiqul Islam.
Police also seized a number of objectionable documents from their possession during the operation.
Further investigation is underway.
