Guwahati: An officer was injured during a protest organised by the Assam Pradesh Congress committee at the party’s headquarters in Guwahati on Wednesday
Blood was seen streaming down the face of Dispur Assistant Commissioner of Police Himanshu Das in photos obtained at the scene. While attempting to restrain protesters, he was presumably struck by a piece of bamboo.
