Guwahati: Guwahati city police arrested two people with firearms at the Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT) in the Lokhra area on Friday.
According to reports, the duo was frisked during a regular check at the bus stop.
Upon searching, police recovered a 7.65 pistol from their possession.
However, no ammunition or bullets were found on them.
The arrested duo has been identified as Raju Deb and Abdul Rahman.
Reports further added that both arrived in the city from Silchar.
An investigation to unearth further linkages is on.
