Guwahati: A woman was critically injured in a road mishap in Guwahati city on Tuesday morning.
The incident took place in the Rajgarh bye lane 4 area of the city.
According to reports, the accident took place when the vehicle bearing registration number ‘AS 01 BZ0675’ collided with a road divider at high speed.
The injured woman was immediately rushed to the Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) for medical treatment.
Meanwhile, locals claimed that a liquor bottle was recovered inside the woman’s car, implying that she was inebriated at the time of the accident.
However, the identity of the injured woman is yet to be ascertained.
