Guwahti: LPG cylinder to cost around 1000, fuel to cost more

Guwahati: LPG (domestic cooking gas) price has increased by Rs 50, with each cylinder now costing around Rs 1000.

As a result of this hike, a 14.2 kg cylinder would now cost Rs 998.50 in Guwahati from today.

On the other hand, following a four-month hiatus in successive revisions of Petrol-Diesel prices across the country, prices have increased by 0.80 today.

In India, both petrol and diesel have seen a 0.80 increase.

Petrol in Guwahati is at 95.48 per litre, down from 94.59 the day before.

Petrol and diesel prices in Delhi today are 96.21 per litre and 87.47 per litre, respectively.

In Mumbai, Rs 110.82 and Rs 95, In Kolkata, Rs 105.51 and RS 90.62, In Chennai, Rs 102.16 and Rs 92.19 respectively.
It may be mentioned that the last time when Petrol-Diesel prices were revised was in November 2021, before the announcement of 5-State Assembly Elections in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur, Goa and Punjab.
