Manipur : Contraband substances worth over Rs 3 crores seized; 1 held
Guwahati: In the ongoing war against drugs, the Maram Battalion of the Assam Rifles seized drugs and one person has been arrested in Senapati District of Manipur.
The troop seized 1Kg Crystal of Methapetamine and 17 Kgs of Opium worth approximately Rs 3.70 Crores from the possession of the offender, official added.
Sharing the news on Twitter, Assam Rifles wrote, “ASSAM RIFLES SEIZES DRUGS IN MANIPUR Maram Battalion of #AssamRifles, on 19 Mar, seized 1Kg Crystal Methapetamine and 17 Kgs of Opium worth approx Rs 3.70 Crores at Senapati District, Manipur.”
