In Maharashtra from June 9 onwards, Mumbai and other neighboring regions have been receiving heavy rainfall for the past few days, with the onset of monsoon.
For next five days, The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy to very heavy rains in Maharashtra issuing an orange alert for Mumbai and other areas.
As the City continues to receive rainfall, waterlogging has been reported in several parts of the City including Mahim and Andheri East disrupting many lives.
