Herd Of 50 Tuskers Wreak Havoc In Assam’s Goalpara

Guwahati: A herd of about 50 wild tuskers continued to pose problems in Goalpara district of Assam.

According to reports, the herd uprooted numerous trees and damaged several homes in the area.

Reportedly, a herd of perhaps 40–50 wild elephants emerged from the forest in Agia Dwarka’s Kesuridubi in the Goalpara dsitrict.

At least one house was destroyed by the giant herd. Additionally, it ruined the village’s paddy harvests.

The victim whose house was destroyed by the elephants was identified as Amal Chandra Barman.
