HS Final Examinations to be held in first week of March in Assam

The Higher Secondary (HS) 2nd year Examinations under the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will be held from the First week of March. A High-Level Committee has been already formed to conduct the Exams. In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, 30 per cent syllabus has been reduced in the HS 2nd year Exams for all the streams. “Our preparations are on full swing to conduct the HS 2nd year final Exams in the First week of March,” said AHSEC Secretary Ramesh Chandra Chutia.

On the other hand, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Classes 12 and 10 Board Examinations will be held from May 4 to June 10. The Practical Examinations will begin from March 1. Class 12 Board Examination will be held in pen and Paper mode at designated Examination halls. Class 12 Students can also check the official CBSE website cbse.nic.in for the full schedule of both theory and Practical Exams. Students are advised to take all precautions regarding the COVID-19 protocol. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has announced the CBSE Boards Examination datesheet for Class 12 during his live session. The results will be declared by July 15.
