India-China Soldiers Face-Off in Ladakh, 3 Indian Army Officials & 5 Chinese Soliders killed

India & China soldiers had a “violent face-off” in Ladakh where 3 Indian Army officials were killed. All of this started when China first engaged with India in a face-off and then it escalated further to a violent clash between the two countries in Galwan Valley. This is the first time in 40 years that such a deadly clash happened at LAC.

The Indian Army Official Statement states that ” During the de-escalation process underway in Galwan Valley, a violent face-off took place yesterday night with casualties. The loss of lives on the India side includes an officer and two soldiers.”

During the de-escalation process a violent face-off took place last night with casualties and currently now senior military officials of the two sides are meeting to defuse the situation. The talks are happening near patrolling point 14, near the mouth of Galwan Valley and patrolling point 17 at Hot Spring Area.

The defence ministry held a meeting with the Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat and the three service chiefs and Extrenal Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar over India-China clash at LAC in Eastern Ladakh. India & China relations have been in a big turmoil from last few months and the new clash-off will certainly bigger the woes between the to countries.
