India reported to have highest bribery rate in Asia according to a report given by Transparency International. The Global Corruption Barometer (GCB) has also found that in Asia nearly 50 per cent of those wo paid bribes have been asked from the opposite side. An another 32 per cent of them used their personal link to get their service down at a small amount of time.
In Asia India topped the chart with 39 per cent of bribery rate and around 46 per cent of the people use their personal connections to get access public services. The firm surveyed that nearly 20,000 citizens in total.
