JP Nadda in Tripura: PM Awas Yojana has been a game-changer in achieving the target of housing for all
Guwahati: Bharatiya Janata Party National President JP Nadda on Thursday said that The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has changed the game in Tripura. The National BJP President stated that 3 lakh 50 dwellings have already been erected in Tripura as part of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana while speaking at the Vijay Sankalp rally in Khayerpur of Tripura. JP Nadda stated during the event that the BJP has been trying to improve the state and its citizens since taking office in 2018. In addition to charging the previous administration with corruption, he said that Tripura had no peace and that the other parties had a long history of political violence.
According to JP Nadda, the BJP is advancing society under the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by upholding the slogan “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.” He claimed that the Modi administration always considers how to advance the North East. His goal is to see the state flourish, but most importantly, young people. According to Nadda, the Modi government has provided tap water and constructed toilets for the people of Tripura as part of the Jal Jeevan programme. Statewide development is taking place.
Nadda claimed that Tripura has changed from being known for “blockades and insurgency” to being renowned for peace, prosperity, and growth.
According to him, 13 lakh Ayushman Bharat health cards have been distributed in Tripura, and up to this point, 107 crores have been paid in settlement.
The BJP National President had earlier in the day released the party’s election platform in the state.
Named as ‘Sankalp Patra 2023’ the manifesto comprises 24 promises.“Unlike other Political Parties, whenever the BJP comes up with a Manifesto, with a Vision Document, it is not a piece of paper for it, but a ‘Commitment’ towards people, towards the nation. Did you ever hear in 70 years that a leader brings his report card? But when a BJP leader comes in front, he brings his report card and tells the roadmap ahead”, said Nadda.
Claiming that BJP strive for development and what they commit, they accomplish, Nadda said, “I am proud to state that I represent a Party, which has a leader like Modi Ji and which has absolutely changed the nature of politics in the country. Have you seen any leader in the nation’s history coming up with a Report Card? It’s only the BJP, the leaders of which come up with the Report Card of their progress and the Roadmap for their future course”.
He added that 2018 had demonstrated to be Tripura’s “Exit Gate” as well as “Entry Gate.”
“’Exit Gate’ for the Left Wing Extremism, Corruption & Crimes; ‘Entry Gate’ for the Peace, Prosperity, Brotherhood, Development & a Great Rise of Tripura”, said Nadda.
