Guwahati: Director Todd Phillips has shared a new still from the upcoming comic book movie. The director revealed Lady Gaga’s first look ex as Harley Quinn on Valentines’ Day.
He shared the photo on his Instagram and wrote in his caption “Happy Valentines’ Day”.
The comments section filled with a lots of excitement as one person wrote “Love is in the air.” Another commented, “We’re all hyperventilating! Where is my inhaler?” A third fan commented, “My heart is about to drop.”
Another user said, “Dear Todd Phillips, when you do these films, you take us into an out of body and outer head space, the music direction, the performances cinematography all A+ plus… congratulations on day one of filming. We are all beyond excited and over the moon that we get to see Joker 2.”
Also the same image was posted by Lady Gaga on her official Instagram account Margot Robbie has played the role three times , Suicide Squad ,Harley Quinn in the live-action films Birds of Prey.
Joker, which released a few years ago, was directed by Todd Phillips as well, and also featured Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz, and Frances Conroy, among others.
The Scott Silver-penned and Phillips feature ended up becoming the highest-grossing R-rated film in history, with earning more than USD 1 billion worldwide. Including the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival one of the most precious awards it received.
It’s scored 11 Oscar nomination and won two. Moreover, it should be highlighted that despite critical and commercial success, there are same people didn’t like it because they felt it painted poor image of the mental health illness and those who suffer from it in a negative light.
The most awaited movie joker is slated for an October 9, 2024 release date. Other than Phoenix and Lady Gaga, joker 2 is also said to star Jacob Lofland, Brendan Gleeson and Catherine Keener
