Guwahati: Pathaan Day will be held on February 17 as Yash Raj Films has revealed the film has amassed 500 crores at the national box office.
Tickets for the movie “Pathaan” will cost Rs. 110 for all screenings in India, including those at PVR Cinemas, INOX Movies, and Cinepolis, among other theatres.
Making the announcement the ‘Pathaan Day’, Yash Raj Films tweeted, “#PathaanDay incoming! #Pathaan crosses 500 crores NBOC. Come celebrate with us this Friday. Book tickets at ₹ 110/- flat across all shows in India at @_PVRCinemas | @INOXMovies | @IndiaCinepolis and other participating cinemas!”
On January 25, the film in three languages—Hindi, Tamil and Telegu—was released in theatres.
Prior to its hit theatres, the film received criticism for its first song, “Besharam Rang,” which featured Deepika Padukone wearing a saffron bikini.
A few miscreants destroyed posters in Guwahati’s Narengi area just a few days before it was released.
