Guwahati, 4th September: A significant road accident occurred in Guwahati’s Khanapara area near a footbridge on Monday morning when two four-wheelers collided, resulting in injuries to five passengers from both vehicles.
According to sources, the accident involved a high-speed KIA Seltos vehicle colliding with an Alto 800 from behind. As a result of the collision, three passengers in the speeding vehicle suffered severe injuries, while the driver and passenger of the other car sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the Alto car recounted the incident, saying, “The vehicle was traveling at a speed of more than 100 km/h when it collided with our car. The passengers in that vehicle sustained serious injuries, but fortunately, we only suffered minor injuries.”
The accident serves as a reminder of the importance of adhering to speed limits and practicing safe driving habits to prevent such incidents on the road.
