Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh Presents 2024-2025 Budget Estimates

Northeast Desk, 31st July: The sixth session of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly commenced today with Chief Minister N Biren Singh presenting the budget estimates for the fiscal year 2024-2025. The budget outlines a gross expenditure of ₹34,899 crores.

  • Flood Management and Border Area Program: ₹220 crores for flood management in 10 river basins.

Singh emphasized the significant support from the central government and outlined various developmental initiatives to bolster infrastructure and manage flood-related challenges.
