Guwahati: An improvised explosive device (IED) has been recovered by police in front of a medical store at Uripok in Imphal West district of Manipur on Friday.
The area was cordoned off shortly after the bomb was discovered.
However, bomb experts of Manipur Police successfully dismantled the explosive device.
No one has claimed responsibility for the bomb’s detonation so far.
Notably, there have been multiple bomb blasts in Manipur in recent times.
It needs to be mentioned that a powerful blast occurred near a school in Imphal on June 5.
