Manipur on Tuesday recorded 269 new COVID-19 cases which is the second-highest single day spike of cases. All the positive cases were detected from 26 COVID testing facilities. The 269 new cases includes 89 females from the general population and 38 personnel from Central Armed Police Force (CAPF).
The psoitive cases are from Imphal West, Imphal East, Tengnoupal, Ukhrul, Tamenglong, Kangpokpi, Kamjong, Noney, Kakching, Jiribam, Bishnupur, Senapati, Churachandpurand Thoubal districts. The number of active cases in Mizoram is 2,642.
