The Manipuri version of ‘Srimad Bhagvad Gita’ and an Assamese book, ‘Mahakavi Kalidas’, authored by Renuka Devi Shastri, have been released. The Manipuri version of Srimad Bhagvad Gita has been published Assam-Manipuri Sahitya Parishad while ‘Mahakavi Kalidas’ has been published by Hojai Sahitya Sabha.
The Manipuri version of ‘Srimad Bhagvad Gita’ and Mahakavi Kalidas’ were released by Pandit Khelemba Sastri, Padmakanta Nath, Laishom Gulap, Anup Kumar Borthakur, Tensubam Manihar, Pukhrabam Kamini in presence of a gathering at Gauranagar Sanskrit Veda Vidyalaya, Gauranagar in Hojai on Thursday.
They said the Manipuri version of the Srimad Bhagawad Gita will help the Manipuri readers to understand the philosophy of great ‘Srimad Bhagwad Gita’ and inspire the readers to follow the path of dharma and truth.
