Margherita Buddha Vihar Hosts Vibrant Celebration of Buddha Purnima in Assam

Guwahati, 23rd May: Margherita Buddha Vihar in Assam joined the global festivities commemorating the 2568th Buddha Jayanti, also known as Buddha Purnima, with an event marked by enthusiasm and gaiety.

The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the World Buddhist flag by Gyanowada Bhikkhu, the esteemed head monk of Margherita Buddha Vihar. This symbolic gesture set the tone for a day filled with spiritual observances and communal joy.

Activities throughout the day included Buddha Puja, Sangha Daan, and the observance of Panchasheel, drawing devotees from across the Tinsukia district to participate in the festivities.
