Massive Fire Breaks Out at Factory in Assam’s Dumduma, 3 Injured

Guwahati: A major fire broke out at Talap in Dumduma in Tinsukia district of Assam on Monday.

As many as three women’s were seriously burnt in the fire.

The fire broke out at a small factory in Tinsukia district where Mahan Chaudhary, a small businessman runs a chowmein factory.

However, fire brigade vehicles rushed to the spot and doused the fire. And the three women who were burned were sent to a hospital in Dibrugarh for further treatment.

The fire broke out near Talap Balibazar High School. The fire is suspected to have been triggered by a cylinder explosion.

Doubts have now arisen over the license of the Chowmein factory that how the factory got permission to be built near the school.
