Meeting in New Delhi Focuses on Development Projects for Arunachal Pradesh
Northeast Desk, 1st August: Union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region (DONER), Jyotiraditya Scindia, recently met with Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein in New Delhi to discuss various development projects for the state. The meeting focused on exploring opportunities to enhance Arunachal Pradesh’s status as a key ‘Gateway of Development.’
Scindia highlighted the importance of these projects in strengthening the state’s role in national development. He shared insights on potential collaborations and initiatives aimed at achieving this goal. In his statement on X (formerly Twitter), Scindia emphasized the need for detailed discussions on these development possibilities.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu also took to social media to express his enthusiasm about the meeting. He acknowledged the valuable discussions with Minister Scindia and stressed the alignment of these projects with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a self-reliant and developed India. Khandu specifically noted the state’s urgent need for improved 4G connectivity, which is critical for enhancing communication and improving the quality of life for residents.
