Missing Myanmar Refugee Found Dead in Mizoram’s Saitual

Norhteast Desk, 2nd December: The body of a 43-year-old Myanmar refugee, who had been missing since November 26, has been found in Saitual district of Mizoram.

The Myanmar refugee identified as Ramthantluanga, originally from Tahan Sangmiau, Myanmar, had been residing in Lenchim village, Saitual District. He went into the jungle to cut trees on November 26 and had been reported missing since then.

His lifeless body was found not far from the village, raising concerns about the circumstances surrounding his death. The authorities have sent the body to his hometown, and investigations may be carried out to determine the cause of his demise.
