The joint team of Assam Forest and Police personnel has arrested the most wanted rhino poacher of Assam, Jobi Gadi in Arunachal Pradesh. The rhino poacher was arrested from Naharlagun in a joint operation by the Assam Forest department with help of Assam Police and Arunachal Pradesh police.
Jobi Gadi was involved in one-horned rhinos poaching since 2010. According to reports he has allegedly killed over 30 one-horned rhinos at the Kaziranga National Park since 2016.
