Multiple Road Accidents in Assam Highlight Need for Vigilance and Road Safety
Guwahati, 10th September: A series of tragic road accidents occurred in various parts of Assam, underlining the importance of road safety and vigilance.
In Numaligarh, a collision between a dumper and a Bolero vehicle left the Bolero driver seriously injured, while the dumper driver fled the scene.
In Goalpara’s Dhanubhanga, a nighttime collision between a vehicle and a bike resulted in the tragic deaths of two bikers. The deceased has been identified as one Bikas Rabha while the identity of the other is yet to be known.
Another accident took place in Rupohihat as a vehicle lost control and plunged into a roadside pond, leaving both the driver and handyman in critical condition.
Additionally, a hit-and-run incident occurred at Gogamukh Chariali, resulting in the tragic death of a cyclist whose identity is yet to be known and leaving an e-rickshaw driver Jayanta Buragohain critically injured.
These incidents serve as a stark reminder of the need for heightened awareness and adherence to road safety measures to prevent such heartbreaking accidents.
