Guwahati: Vikato Aye, the Nagaland People’s Front (NPF) candidate from Ghaspani-I, withdrew from the election.
The NPF candidate withdrew from the campaign and declared that he would endorse BJP’s candidate Jacob Zhimomi who had been his rival.
Aye had belonged to the NPF, but when the NDPP came to power, he abandoned the organisation and returned to the NPF.
