Naomi Osaka withdraws from French Open due to injury

US Open winner Naomi Osaka announced on Thursday that she would not take part in the French Open this month due to a hamstring sore. Naomi Osaka posted on twitter “My hamstring is still sore so I won’t have enough time to prepare for the clay  these 2 tournaments came too close to each other for me this time,’ I wish the organizers and players all the best.’

Naomi Osaka defeated Victoria Azarenka in the final of US open to lift the prestigious title, which helped him to rose to No. 3 in the rankings this week, the French Open is scheduled to begin September 27.
