Ever since Sikkim government has open boundaries for tourists from 10 October 2020 Sikkim has received nearly one lakh tourists. As per the information by Tourism department as many as 27608 travel cards have been issued which totals in 90258 tourists but many tourists have also visited Sikkim without travel card so all together nearly one lakh tourists have visited Sikkim.
Sikkim had closed it doors for visitors after the COVID Pandemic and lockdown started in India and after the grip of Coronavirus ripped of partially the Government of Sikkim opened various tourist destinations of Sikkim.
