Guwahati: Nearly 100 people fell sick due to suspected food poisoning after eating at a marriage feast in Tezpur under Sonitpur district of Assam.
According to reports, the people became ill after eating meals at a wedding event held in Puthimari village on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, police and other concerned officials arrived on the scene and assessed the situation.
It may be mentioned that three of them have been admitted to Tezpur Medical College Hospital (TMCH) in critical condition, while the others are being treated at home.
