New Genus of Malaria ‘Plasmodium ovale’ detected in Kerela
The Health Minister of Kerala KK Shailaja has announced that a new genus of malaria, Plasmodium ovale has been detected in the state. The disease was detected in a soldier who travelled from Sudan and he has being treated at the district hospital in Kannur.
