Guwahati: Around 25 people were injured in a road accident in Puri city of Odisha on Sunday.
The accident occurred after a bus carrying pilgrims overturned and crashed on the highway near Rambha in the Ganjam district.
According to reports, the bus was carrying 50 passengers and all were pilgrims.
At least 25 were injured of which four sustained major injuries.
However, the bus was on its way to Tamil Nadu from Puri.
Reportedly, the collision occurred near a construction site for a highway widening project.
Senior district authorities have arrived on the spot to assess the situation.
It needs to be noted that all of the victims have been treated, and the bus has been recovered for repairs.
