Oldest actor to win Oscar, Christopher Plummer passes away at 91
The oldest actor to win an Oscar at the age of 82, Christopher Plummer has passed away in US’ Connecticut. The 91-year-old actor left behind his wife Elaine Taylor by his side.
During his 50 years tenure in the hollywood industry, Plummer played various roles ranging from the film “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo,” to the voice of the villain in 2009′s “Up” and as a canny lawyer in Broadway’s “Inherit the Wind.”
Christopher Plummer won a supporting actor Oscar for his role in “Beginners” as Hal Fields in 2012 Oscar.
