Guwahati: One more encounter in Assam, this time a dacoit was shot dead in police firing at Sipajhar
The dacoit has been identified as Taijuddin Ahmed.
He was allegedly involved in the robbery at Paltan Bazar, according to police.
According to reports, police in Sipajhar carried out an operation in which they took Ahmed with them.
When the cops opened fire on the dacoit during the operation, he sought to flee.
It may be mentioned that the robbery was caught on camera. In Guwahati, five robbers ransacked one flat in broad daylight.
It needs to be noted that Robbers stole cash and jewellery worth lakhs of rupees from a businessman’s home.
