Guwahati: The Health Minister of Odisha Naba Das suffered critical injuries after he was shot by an unidentified miscreants on Sunday.
The incident occured in the Jharsuguda district of Odisha, close to Brajarajnagar.
According to reports, Das was travelling to Gandhi Chowk in Brajarajnagar to attend an event. He got out of his car and unidentified miscreants started shooting at him.
Following the incident, the Odisha minister was taken immediately to a nearby hospital. He is receiving treated while in a critical state.
The exact reason behind the incident is still not known.
Meanwhile, the police have file a case in this regard and begun an investigation to apprehend the criminals.
