Pakistani Intruder Shot Dead by BSF

Guwahati: The Boundary Security Force (BSF) shot and killed a Pakistani intruder on Tuesday in Gurdaspur sector along the India-Pakistan international border in Punjab.

The infiltration bid was discovered around 8:30 am. The BSF squad observed what they believed to be the movements of an armed Pakistani invader who was coming up to the BSF barrier from that country. BSF soldiers confronted and defeated the alleged intruder.

The BSF reports that a thorough search operation is being conducted nearby.

This incident marks the first time a Pakistani invader has been slain at the border in 2023.

It needs to be mentioned that the BSF arrested 23 Pakistanis and killed two infiltrators last year along the 553 km international boundary between India and Pakistan, which is located in Punjab.
