Patna girl bagged Rs 1.10-crore package job at Google
Guwahati: Sampreeti Yadav, a girl from Patna, Bihar, has bagged a job at Google with a salary of Rs 1.10 crore a year. The girl has a B Tech in Computer Science from Delhi Technological University and is currently employed at Microsoft, where she earns Rs 44 lakhs a year.
On February 14, 2022, Sampreeti will join Google. Sampreeti’s father, Ramashankar Yadav, is a bank officer, and her mother, Shashi Prabha, is an Assistant Director with the Planning and Development Department in Patna’s Nehru Nagar.
Four firms approached Sampreeti Yadav with job offers, including Adobe and Flipkart. She eventually decided on Microsoft and began working there. In the meantime, she got a job offer from Google.
It may be mentioned that Google selected her after nine rounds of interviews and offered her a Rs 1.10 crore yearly compensation.
In June of last year, Diksha Bansal, a final-year computer science graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology-Patna (IIT-P), was hired by Google at a salary of Rs 54.57 lakh per year. Uber, a company based in the United States, had made an offer to five IIT-BHU students. IIT BHU said in a statement that one of the students was promised a package for Rs 2.05 crores.
She graduated from Delhi Technological University with a B Tech in Computer Science in May 2021.
Sampreeti is currently employed by Microsoft and receives a yearly salary of Rs 44 lakhs.
