Guwahati: In a tragic accident, one person was killed by a security vehicle driven by Assam cabinet minister and Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) president Atul Bora on Sunday.
The incident took place at Samaguri in Nagaon district of Assam.
According to reports, a pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by the minister’s escort vehicle.
Following the incident, he was immediately rushed to the Nagaon Civil Hospital in a critical condition.
However, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
The deceased has been identified as Manash Pratim Das who was a resident of Samaguri.
Meanwhile, Bora communicated with the deceased’s family over the phone and extended his condolences to the family.
