PM Modi to Hold Meeting with NDA MPs from Northeastern Region to Prepare for Upcoming Lok Sabha Polls

National Desk, 7th August: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet with National Democratic Alliance (NDA) MPs from the northeastern region on Monday, marking a critical step in the run-up to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections expected for next year. National Desk, 7th August.

The meeting will be attended by BJP chief JP Nadda, as well as Union ministers Sarbananda Sonowal, Kiren Rijiju, and Nitin Gadkari, who play pivotal roles in the party’s strategy for the region.

Representatives from eight northeastern states will be participating in the meeting. These states include Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, and Sikkim.

The Northeast region has been a special focus of the Narendra Modi government, and the meeting will likely discuss key issues related to the region’s development and security. Of particular concern is the recent ethnic violence in Manipur, which has raised alarm and demands immediate attention from the central government to restore peace and stability in the area.

With this meeting, PM Modi continues his engagement with NDA MPs from various states, having already held six cluster meetings with representatives from different regions. The gathering is expected to be a platform for strategic discussions and consultations, aiming to strengthen the party’s position in the Northeastern region and prepare for the upcoming electoral challenges.
